11-18 Roshambo & 14 Elite are starting at the top!

11 ROSHAMBO

“The girls did a ton of work in practice. The competitive drive for these youngsters is incredible. It’s part of the reason we are where we are. I really think this can be a special team.” – Will Wong (Head Coach)

12 ROSHAMBO

“This team has remained focused on the things we needed to do. Especially serving. In a short time I’ve seen our serving improve tremendously, which has provided us with early success. We’re one of the few teams that can hit zones consistently. And that makes me proud. It’s been a great start to the year.”- Shari Iwatani (Head Coach)

13 ROSHAMBO

“The girls have won a lot of tight matches early on. And that’s great to see because it means we’ve already learned what we’re capable of and know we can do it in the future. I think they’ve done an incredible job staying disciplined and can’t wait to see where it takes us.” – Lisa Steenport (Head Coach)

14 ROSHAMBO

“I think we’ve taken some pretty big strides in terms of learning to play like a team. We’ve been speeding a few things up and the girls have responded well. Their hard work and natural competitiveness is what has the potential to set this team apart. We’ve seen what we can do when we harness it, and it’ll be great to practice getting that against the best teams in the area. Overall, I’m extremely happy to be where we are as a team, especially when there’s still so much room to grow.” – Vanessa Williams-Mukai (Head Coach)

14 ELITE

“Oh my, where do I begin? This team is, well, they’re something. They’ve actually blown me away this year. Their work ethic is incredible and they always want to play more. More more more. And that idea alone brings more wins. I’m so proud of them and what they’ve already accomplished. They deserve it. But we’re not done yet! Not by a long shot!.” – Stephanie Eskander (Head Coach)

15 ROSHAMBO

“We’ve been playing good team volleyball. Everyone is always encouraging and helping each other get better. It’s not going to be easy, but if this keeps up, I think we can do some big things in the future. It’s a fun team to be on.” Lola Foord (Opposite Hitter)

16 ROSHAMBO

“It’s been such a good vibe this year and I think that’s why we’ve been so successful. Brent’s a good coach, and we have some great players that work really hard, too. All of those things put together have gotten us here and it’s been an awesome experience so far.” – Lauren Juzang (Middle Blocker)

17 ROSHAMBO

“This year has been interesting—in a good way. We’ve really battled our way through some adversity, and seen that we can still be successful. This has been a great team to play on the last three years, and I know we’re going to get even better as we continue to put the pieces together.” - Lindsey Kelly (Setter)

18 ROSHAMBO

“We’ve really come together as a team this year and it shows. Not only did we have a great start to the season, but we’re definitely the best zumba and hacky sack team in the country. We just need to stay focused, work hard, and have a good time doing it. Focus on the process and let the results come naturally.” – Kelli Barry (Libero)
