12 Roshambo hangs out in Spokane!

The girls of 12 Roshambo kept their historic season rolling at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier in Spokane over the weekend, finishing with a perfect 8-0 record to pick up an American Division Junior National bid and a gold medal.

“We continue to serve at an extremely high level. 1-13. And when we have this many good servers it makes it really difficult on our opponents and a lot easier on our blockers. It was our best blocking tournament so far,” said head coach, Shari Iwatani.

No kidding. 12 Roshambo recorded more blocks in the tournament than all previous competitions combined. And they didn’t just go undefeated—they held every opponent they faced under 19 points.

“It was impressive that we were able to maintain that level of focus as an entire team for three straight days. Loved every minute of it,” added Iwatani.

12 Rosh will look to keep the streak alive on April 14th at SCVA Mandatory 3.
