The girls of 14 Thunder were able to hold seed over the weekend, finishing first in their pool at Q2. And they did it with great ball control.

“It was the best out-of-system setting performance of the year so far. Not even close. Which made me incredibly incredibly proud,” said Head Coach Hannah Tedrow.

14 Thunder beat ProPlay VBC, Coast, and Nike to secure a spot in SCVA Gold (Division 1-4).

“It’s incredibly nice to know we’re guaranteed a spot in Gold. It means we’ll get better competition, and that’s the best way for us to improve as a team over time,” concluded Tedrow.

The girls will have a three-week training block before stepping on the court again February 10th. There, they will battle it out for their divisional placement.
